In September, our homeschool group had 'Picture Day' for our students. Our friend (and co-leader of our group), Mariette, did the photography. She chose a great spot and did a fabulous job!
Mariette blessed us with these beautiful pictures of all the kids.
We are sinners saved by grace - seeking to glorify the Lord in whatever we do (I Cor. 10:31); effectually called by God (John 6:44). We have both bio and adopted children whom we home educate. In spite of living in Silicon Valley we strive to slow down – to keep it simple – to eat frugally, but nourishingly – and to train up our children in the things of the Lord. We wish we lived on big beautiful acerage with livestock, creeks, and huge gardens – but we don’t. So, we are learning to be content, to be faithful, and ultimately, to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
