Post Election

Tweets from

Paul Washer...

The most Christ-like man I ever knew went to heaven yesterday - Bob Jennings. A great preacher whose his life was greater than his sermons.

The death of a single child of God is more significant to heaven than all the elections of an ungodly nation.

My heart is troubled by the misdirected hope of Christians in America: "Stop regarding man whose breath of life is in his nostrils." Is.2:22

Jer. 17:5 - Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind & makes flesh his strength & whose heart turns away from the LORD."

The judgment of God against this nation will not be turned by a more conservative President, but by the repentance of its people.

The church's task for the next 4 yrs is the same as the last 2000 yrs -

Preach the Gospel to every creature and live it out before them.

Remember Who Sits Over the White House

from Nov 06, 2012 Category: Articles

As we look at the newspapers every day and watch our televisions, we see and hear all sorts of concern about the presidential election in the United States. We are electing a president, a vice president, senators, and congressmen.

In a proximate sense, it’s very important who sits in the White House.

But ultimately, the most important matter is not who sits in the White House but who sits over the White House.

The one who sits over the White House is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and our Savior.

Last minute Garden attempt

We are so behind in getting the garden going this year!  I think because of having a baby in March, I took the pressure off of myself and was okay with not doing a garden this year.  Then, I got the bee in my bonnet, and had to make something happen.

Our poor garden was truly abandoned after last season.  We did no post season care.  We had a big mess to clean up, but it was so good to get everybody out there ‘working hard!’

It took a few days to clean it up, and even longer to get everything planted.

Moments in our Day

Since I have started taking pictures with my phone, the quality of the photos has gone downhill.

The tradeoff, though, is that I take a lot more pictures... and can capture a lot more moments...usually one-handed ...while nursing the baby or changing a diaper : )

These are some random moments of our day.....

School Photos and Outtakes

We are grateful to our friend, Mariette Hart, who takes our school photos.  She is a very talented homeschool mom who has graduated her children, and is able to spend more time doing some beautiful photography!
